I'm going to be really pissed if I don't get my preorder item on my current character. That's just BS.

I just logged in and my lvl 5 warrior has his preorder item now.

The preorder characters tend to be good late game, contrary to speculation in the previous BWEs.

The Karthan Targe provides 4 defense.
If you have 10 Tactics, you get +14 more defense.
If you have 8 Strength, you get +30 health.
If you have 8 Axe Mastery, you get +2 Energy.
If you have 8 Swordsmanship, you get +2 Energy.

Very nice for warrior builds.

My friend has an Ithas Bow. I think it was 17-22 damage and +5 Armor for 12 Marksmanship.

I hope the others are just as nice.

that's 13-20 DMG with 10 marksmanship, and +5 DEF with 10 expertise.

there seems to be a problem with some people and the preorder items. some people don't get them on one-all of their characters.

I have entered the cd key and also the pre order key in the extra key field yet none of my characters have the pre order item .. it hasn't appeared on my haracter that i played with in the beta weekends or on my new character i created a day or so ago. Sorry .. this problem has probably been ask 676547 times but just thought id ask it once more .. soz

ok .. just created a random character and the bow now appears on him ... but not on the character i created the other day which was to be my main ranger character ... Are all of my characters supposed to get the bow or just new ones i create from now on ?

I pre ordered my GW from EB. Now from what I know the pre order item from EB was supposed to be a bow. For some reason I get a censor instead? Why is this? Did I do something wrong? I have entered both keys (my beta pre order key and the key inside the release version found inside the jewel case on the insert) and still can not get the bow.

I, too, am having pre-order item issues. I have my initial in-game special item showing up in the inventories of all 4 of the characters that I created, but upon entering the access key for a second special item from another pre-order package I have, the special item (censor's icon) only shows up in the inventory of one of the four characters, and not on the monk where it's needed. So I've emailed a note to ANet to see what they might have to say about it. I received the initial response back this morning, but no solution as yet. I'll keep you posted on what I hear, when they get back to me. I may try deleting/recreating my monk to see if the censor's icon will show up in his inventory then, but I'd really rather not have to do that.

Does anyone know if or how you would purchase another preorder key? Or can you simply use your friends if they have a different Item then you?

ON a side note: I dont think nor really like Divine Aura being included in the whole key swaping purchasing things. Yeah if you buy the collectors edition but

Meh, Oh well. Not that big of a deal.

The Divine Aura is visible when you use emotes in-game and the items should be in your characters. Some people seem to be having problems with this though. (Like me. I created a character today but he didn't get the Ithas Bow like my other characters)

Any new character I make, doesn't have my preorder Items, whats with this? Is it true also about our vault passing through our account so any of our chars can access it ? o.o;

yup. but each charac needs to pay a one time fee of 50gold for access to same vault.

and ye same with me, new charc = no exclusive item. did they turn all the items off til they fix the bug?

added: ye still have mine on original characs.

no, cause some don't get the weapons with their new characters, some don't get it with their old ones. personally, I don't have the bow with my main character, but I DO have it with all my others (unfortunately, my main's the one who uses bows)

same here with the no pre-order item...i had it with my main...but it was a bow and i never used it as a warrior. So, I decided to make a ranger and take advantage of the Ithas Bow...but, that seems to be a no-go...anyone know anything about this?
